The HSUS National Disaster Animal Response Team (N-DART), comprised of both staff and volunteers, has responded to disasters nationwide. Our response has included working with our on-the-scene Assessment Teams, evaluating damage, seeing firsthand the impact on animals and sending one or more fully equipped N-DART teams to support local government and humane organizations in disaster response, rescue and recovery.
